Since we are being deluged with snow, ice, and bitter cold, stay home and enjoy some quite moments with God and His Word or relax with your family and have your own church service with singing, prayer, Bible reading, and a "sermon" from the one whose birthday is closest to today. There is a plethora of resources on the internet you can find to help you.
Remember that God LOVES YOU!
Also, when there are weather related issues that would diminsh your safety for attending church or our ability to open the church in time for regularly schedule services or activities, we have the following procedure in place for you to be notified:
If you do not receive a call or text, check out one of these channels.
If you do not see "First Church of the Nazarene" listed on any of these channels, check the channels after a few more cycles of closings. You can also visit the respective closure websites by clicking on the call letters; channels 27, 43, 49, & 49.3 will take you to the same listing. The websites may be a better source for more up-to-date information as it takes a little time for closings to be submitted and then to populate on the respective TV channels. Generally, the websites refresh the list of cancellations more frequently.
Also, if you do not see "First Church" listed, be prudent & safety conscious in your personal decisions as to whether or not to challenge the weather.
GOD BLESS you ... and stay WARM, DRY, and SAFE!
